Tailor-made for “Shut-ins” and others with transportation and special needs. The Centre provides refreshments and transportation. Person must be registered with Dial-a-bus. They can also use taxicab-make sure they get a receipt for reimbursement. Opportunity for one-on-one companionship (home visits, phone chats etc). The Outreach Program is always looking for volunteers to spend time with shut-ins.

Stone Senior Centre open.
There are many ways you can
volunteer here at the Centre,
and we are always looking for
more people to help out.
You could work at our
Welcome Desk. We try to
have 2 volunteers for each shift.
The shifts are from 9:00-12:30 and
from 12:15-4:00.
